Irresistible Paris…a special itinerary art tour that takes you into the world of art through legendary artists and writers who established so much of what is wonderful and inspiring in art today. This tour will lead you through the backstreets and show you where Picasso, Matisse, Gertrude Stein and may others lived and worked, and then introduce you to their work first hand in some of the most innovative and beautiful museums in the world.
The tour leader Majena Mafe will help you to understand the techniques and ideas that the masters were working with. As well as Paris’s art you will visit Palais Royal, Notre-Dame, tour Mont St Michel, and spend a day in the historic Chateaux Country feasting your eyes of spectacular gothic castles and chateaus. How much does the tour cost?
The tour has been priced with a minimum of 10 people in the group. The cost of the tour is $6950.00 per person for economy class travel and share twin-bedded room. A $1500.00 deposit is required at time of booking. This price is based on what it would cost to do this itinerary this year. There is the chance of discount air fares coming available each December and these will be sort, and the savings transferred to the participants. After a deposit is paid, if you prefer, the tour can be paid off as a lay-by system through the Blue Heeler Travel Centre. See details below. No visas are required if you have an Australian passport.

Tour Guide and Leader
Majena Mafe (BAVArts with Hons & MFA VArt MPhil CWriting) is a respected visual artist and teacher. She is a lecturer in Creative Industries Visual Art at QUT, the BIA and is an artist mentor and art therapist. She is also a published writer. With over twenty years of experience, exhibiting and teaching art, her interest and talent focuses on developing individual’s passionate interest in art and their creativity.

- What kind of people go on Art Study Tours?
The single feature which distinguishes this study tour group is the participants wish to become well informed about the art they see in the places they visit. The interests of the group will be wide-ranging, such painting and art, history, fine arts, music, architecture, gastronomy and literature. Some of the members of the group will be experienced artists; others will be beginning out on their journey in art. A few members of the group will be novices. All are welcome.
- What will the weather be like?
Beautiful autumn weather, bring a light jacket but temperatures should be mild and pleasant averaging around 20 degrees.
